Bill Management Project - App Design

Overview
PayTracker is a secure, AI-assisted bill management app designed to help users track their payments, receive reminders, and get personalized advice on which bills to pay first. The project focused on creating a user-friendly, trust-driven experience for handling sensitive financial tasks.
My Role

Led end-to-end design from research to prototyping
Designed secure user flows, onboarding, and core bill management screens
Collaborated with developers and product managers
Problem
Many people struggle with managing multiple bills, forgetting due dates, and deciding which payments to prioritize. Financial apps often lack clarity, trust-building UX, or personalized features.
Goals
Help users easily track and manage bills
Provide smart advice on which payments to prioritize
Ensure data security and user trust through secure onboarding
Deliver a simple, modern, and accessible interface
User Research & Insights
Conducted surveys and interviews with 15+ users
Key findings:
80% use spreadsheets or reminders for bills
70% worry about missing payments due to poor tracking
Trust and security are top concerns for finance-related apps

Designed multi-step secure onboarding with identity verification, 2FA, and OTP
